Simon Says Put a Stamp On It

Did you follow Simon Says Stamp's Put a Stamp on It blog hop? There was so much inspiration from their design team using washi tape. I couldn't resist entering the challenge and de-hoard my washi tape stash.

I made yet another banner card but taped the washi to some cardstock before trimming out the pennants. The background was stamped with Hero Arts' graph pattern and the pennants were attached with dimensional tape. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

I used Emily's twine knots between each flag (you can see her great tutorial here) and punched out a small butterfly from washi tape after it was adhered to cardstock. Some twine bows were added to the banner and the card was done.

I have more washiful ideas and hope to create a few more cards for this fun challenge.

Have a great rest of the week and thanks for stopping by!

  9. I love the contrast between the khaki backdrop and the colorful banner. and the fun relationship between the banner and the sentiment. what I am trying to say is that your card is awesome in so many ways both technically. that;s what makes you a professional!
