There was a poll on Facebook asking what type of cards do we prefer to make--Halloween or Christmas? I make and send out more Christmas cards but secretly,
I love making Halloween cards. You too?
When I saw Hero Arts' Envelope Liner Background stamp in its packaging, I thought
it would make an eerie looking background, perfect for Halloween and this month's challenge at Hero Arts.
I also loved Tami Hartley's card that she shared on the Hero Arts blog
and used it as inspiration.
I stamped both the Newspaper Skyline and the Envelope Liner Background in Wet Cement and ink distressed over it in several different colors of Distress inks.
Three bats were added and I dotted their eyes with a white pigment pen.
The fun sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
Thanks for stopping by and have a spooktacular week!

ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun Halloween card. Love the surprising graphic design. I always associate bats with caves or spooky mansions. Wouldn't it be horrible if they started inhabiting skyscrapers?
