TOUCHdown!

Hi friends! No, this is not a post about the upcoming Super Bowl game. It's about the new Touch markers by Shinhan Art

Living on Oahu, there's a Copics distributorship conflict, and I am unable to have them mailed to me by any online companies. Bummer! 7 Kids College Fund informed me that they'll soon be selling some alcohol based markers by Shinhan Art, and I was intrigued.

Enter Steven Berman, the president of Shinhan USA. He graciously sent me some markers to test and review, and I feel that they performed as superior as Copics do.

I colored this image by Sister Stamps with the Touch markers, and I was able to use my Copics with them--they blended beautifully together.

I also used the Copics colorless blender and dotted Yoshimi's kimono for some texture.

Give the Touch markers a try, especially if you've always wanted to try Copics. They're less expensive, refillable, and they come in 168 brilliant colors, including a colorless blender. The pens are comfortable to hold, and blend well with any Copics you may already own.

You can find the new Touch markers in the Carpe Diem online store, or check out the retail stores in your area.

Thanks for stopping by today and letting me share my review of Shinhan Art's new and improved Touch markers. Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. Hi Donna~
Yes those Shin Han Touch markers are awesome... I've been using them for the past 8 months or so....I have the B/G set of 12 and they work well the only thing it does not adhere to certain papers it will tend to bleed through....
You did a great example on the SS image too...TFS!

  9. WHY can't we get Copics shipped here to Oahu? I was surprised when I went to a certain website and found I couldn't get it shipped to me. That really bugs me and Im glad to know that we have other options. Actually the whole shipping to Hawaii thing bugs me, lol! I don't have any Shinhan markers but I'll have to try them out for myself soon. Love your CAS card and how you added texture to Yoshimi's kimono. Too cute!
