Got eggs?

Stamps used: Cracked Egg--Bouquet, Homegrown Sentiments

I made a quick card with Cracked Egg--Bouquet. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Archival ink and colored it with Memento ink pads and a colorless blender.


Different colors were tapped on an acrylic block and picked up with the blender. I love this coloring technique! It makes me feel like I'm watercoloring, without the water or the watery mess.

I added some Rock Candy Distress Stickles to the flowers. When it dries, it looks like sprinkled sugar--such a neat effect!

The sentiment is from the Homegrown Sentiments set. I rounded off one corner of the card, and added some faux stitching with a brown Sharpie extra fine pen.
