Scramblin' fun

The Hero Arts Flickr group offers 90 minute Scrambles, and I don't always get to participate because of the time difference. This past weekend was a good time for me, so I scrambled along with Barb, our gracious hostess.

Basically, you're given a theme and 90 minutes to complete and upload your card. It's a lot of fun, with tons of camaraderie whether it's your first or your 33rd Scramble. And in the end, you get to see a lot of inspiring cards, and make some new stamping friends.

Barb chose "flowers" as her theme, with an emphasis on using a die cut on your card. Of course I chose Reverse Wonky Rectangles and some brown cardstock--my fave. And I finally opened up the Sizzix Stamp and Die set because I wanted to use the butterflies, and boy, do I love the dies! Why did I wait so long to open them up?

I also decided to enter this, at the last minute, in Hero Arts' February challenge featuring a Friendship theme, and a technique using die cuts.

A heads up that I have an extra set of Reverse Wonky Rectangle dies that I'll be giving away in the next few days. And I'll add some other goodies, too. Stay tuned...

Have a fantastic, crafty weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
