Hello, friends! If you've arrived here from Sue's fabulous blog, then you're on the right track for Day One of Hero Arts' 2012 Catalog Blog Hop featuring Hero Arts' Hostesses!
Here are my cards that I made using stamps from Hero Arts' newest catalog. The catalog cover is what inspired my first card. I ♥ Hero Arts' background stamps and the Newspaper Background has been given a permanent spot on my craft desk!
Stamps used: Newspaper Background, Year Round Sentiments,
Sweet Hearts
I love that even with text on it, the stamp can be read both horizontally and vertically. I used it horizontally here on my second card, along with the Newspaper Skyline, another new favorite.
Stamps used: Newspaper Background, Newspaper Skyline, Year Round Sentiments
The sentiments on the first two cards are from Year Round Sentiments. Hero Arts will donate 25% of the profits from this stamp set to Operation Write Home. How cool and generous is that?
Stamps used: Leaf and Floral Background, Truly Grateful
I decided to go vintage on my last card, using Leaf and Floral Background and Truly Grateful, a gorgeous set of labels. The hand crocheted flower was made by a dear friend.
During this 5-day hop, Hero Arts will be awarding prizes from randomly drawn comments. For a chance to win, simply comment on ANY of the stops along the hop on ANY day, including each day's starting post at the Hero Club Blog. The more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
Now let's hop over to Barb's blog. I can't wait to see what she's done with the new catalog stamps! If you find a broken link, you'll find a master list of the hop links at the Hero Club Blog. Also, please report any broken links to Tami.
Thanks for hopping by, and thank you, Hero Arts, for the opportunity to reunite with the other hostesses and help showcase the 2012 stamps!
Happy hopping!
