MFT November New Product Launch

It's finally here! My Favorite Things November Release is available for purchase
in the MFT Store! And you have a chance to win one of two $100 gift vouchers
just by leaving comments on all the designer's blogs.

Before you go, I'd like to share a couple of projects using Get Toasty. I just love
the punny sentiments that pair well with the toasted marshmallows!

For the first card, white card stock was ink distressed with several dye inks,
then spattered with water. The marshmallows and skewers were die cut,
and some shading was added to the marshmallows.

All the images were adhered to the panel and I stamped the sentiment beneath it.
The panel was then adhered to a brown card base.

Next up, I used the Large Grid Stencil and sponged several colors of dye inks
in campfire colors. I spattered some white ink over it and die cut a panel
with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24.

I arranged the toasted marshmallows and finished off with the sentiment
then adhered the panel to a white card base. And now I'm craving s'mores.

Be sure to visit all the designers for one last look at the November release
and leave comments on their blogs for your chance to win one of two $100
gift vouchers to the MFT Store! You can find all the spankin' new stuff HERE.
Happy shopping and thanks for stopping by during countdown week!

MFT November Release Countdown--Day 1

It's the last day of My Favorite Things November Release Countdown!
Tomorrow is the day when all new products go on sale at 10pm EST.
Have you got your wish lists ready?

Today I'm sharing two cards paying tribute to our four legged friends
who in most cases, are considered part of the family. First up is Cat-itude,
a fun set with feline images and punny matching sentiments.

I wanted to try "looser" watercoloring, using Zig markers as the coloring medium.
After stamping the images with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on watercolor paper,
I colored them with the markers and a waterbrush. I wasn't too concerned
about bleeding or staying within the lines--or that one of the kitties was PINK!

I cut the panel with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24, then adhered it
to a Cement Gray card base. The sentiments were white embossed to a strip of
the gray card stock and adhered to the panel.

My second card features Top Dog--a cute set for all you dog lovers out there.
The images were all stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid ink, and colored with
Zig markers and a waterbrush, then spattered with white ink.

Can you see the texture on the card? I embossed the panel with the Brick Wall
Cover Up and trimmed it to fit the card base. The sentiment was white embossed
on a strip of card stock and adhered to the edge of the panel.

So are you a cat person or a dog person? Both sets are fun to color
and have matching dies, sold separately.

Be sure to stop by My Favorite Things and see what the rest of the
design team has shared, and leave a comment there for your chance to win
a $75 prize! Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow!

MFT November Release Countdown--Day 2

It's two more days till My Favorite Things November Release and today
I'm featuring the new Stitched Star STAX. I just love the stitching detail
on die cuts and to have them on stars is just...stellar! Pun intended.

The stars were die cut from watercolor card stock and I used Zig markers
to color the top of the stars and blended with water towards the bottom.

I stamped the scribble circles in Versamark ink and gold embossed them,
then cut out a panel with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24.

The stars were adhered on to the panel and the hybrid sentiment is from
Some shiny gold sequins finished off the card.

You know the drill, right? Visit today's countdown post at My Favorite Things
to see more projects from the rest of the design team and be sure to
leave a comment there for your chance to win a $75 prize
