It's a STAMPtember® Block Party!

I'm joining Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember® celebration--a month long PARTY
showcasing their newest products. Simon graciously sent me the Picture Book Donut,
another fun addition to their Storybook line.

Here's my card. What better way to celebrate STAMPtember® than with donuts?

Donuts were cut from card stock and inked to resemble plain and chocolate flavors.
Icing was cut from white, pink, and tan card stock and dark gray card stock was cut and
popped into the spaces for the eyes.

Sprinkles were added to the white and pink icing topped donuts with Copics then glazed
for a bit of texture. The donuts were piled on a Desert Storm card base. White highlights
were added to the caramel topped donut and the sentiment was white embossed on
the card. Rounded corners finished off the card.

For my card, I inked up the stamps with Distress inks and spritzed them with water
before stamping on watercolor card stock. I stamped the sentiment, then flicked
 black paint over the surface, and finished off the card with black Nuvo Crystal Drops.

And here's my take on it.

I inked up MFT's brush strokes and spatters in pigment ink. The bold sentiment
is from the exclusive STAMPtember set. I die cut the panel with the rectangle
element from Blueprints 24 and adhered it to a gray card base.

Here's my take on it.

I inked up MFT's Fall Florals, spritzed them with water then stamped them
on watercolor cardstock. I added a few details with watercolor pencils. The panel
was cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24. I curved the sentiment
and stamped it over the flowers. The panel was adhered to a Grout Gray card base.

MFT + Simon Says Stamp = a STAMPtember® Exclusive

A fun collaboration is happening between Simon Says Stamp and My Favorite Things
with an exclusive stamp set designed just for STAMPtember®.

Check out this amazing, must have stamp set, Thanks for Being There. I love the 

brush stroke thanks and unique phrases that go with them.

I couldn't wait to use the new sentiments, and made a card using products
from MFT's September release--Fall Florals and the English Brick Wall stencil.

I lightly stenciled Grout Gray card stock with the brick pattern in abstract

fashion, then die cut the panel with the rectangle element from Blueprints 25.

I die cut some flowers and leaves from watercolor card stock and inked up

the matching images with Zig markers. After spritzing them with water,

I stamped them on the die cuts, and assembled them on the card.
I finished off the card with the sentiment and a sprinkling of sequins.
