SSS Wednesday Challenge May Designer Spotlight

I am thrilled to be the Guest Designer for Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge
for the month of May! I'll be sharing a card each week and I hope you'll play along! 

This week's challenge is all about STENCILS, and here's my card using one.

I sponged on two colors of Distress inks over a Grid Stencil, letting it fade
towards the right and top sides of the card. I spattered on some water and
white paint and let it dry.

The blooms and leaves were loosely colored with Zig markers and water,
die cut, and assembled over the stenciled background. The card was finished off
with the label sentiment and a bit of bling from some gemstones.
