This month, we're focusing on the word "celebrate". Incorporate the stamped or
die cut word into your birthday card design and leave no question as to the mood
of your greeting.
For my project, I white embossed the word "celebrate" diagonally on watercolor
card stock and ink distressed with gradient warm colors. The panel was trimmed
and adhered to a white card base.
I chose a Bitty Bear to let the background stand out. He was stamped and colored
with Copic markers, then cut with the matching Die-namics. The sentiment was
white embossed on a strip of brown card stock and adhered to the card together
with the bear. Sequins finished off the card.

Awesome, love how you used Celebrate as your background!
ReplyDeleteAnother really adorable card, Donna! I love the effect of your gradient inking and your little guy just steals my 'Bitty Bear' loving heart!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! How did you get the 'celebrate' to line up so perfectly each time? That's always tricky for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie! I sort of "winged it" and it lined up pretty well--better than I expected!
DeleteI love that you white embossed the sentiment repeatedly and diagonally and made a cheerful background! The warm colors are festive and springy - time for the bitty bear to come out from hibernation! :-) Hideko
