MFT June Release Replay Challenge

It's time for MFT's June Release Replay Challenge when the Creative Team
shares more inspiration and ideas with the latest release.

Here's my project, using the new Framework Stencil and the Big Thanks
Die-namics, which is the "free with $60" die that's added to a qualifying order.

Originally, I was planning to sponge ink over the stencil, then decided to do
some "water stamping". After ink distressing watercolor card stock with Distress
inks, the stencil was sprayed with water and placed over the inked panel.

You'll never know the results until the moment when you lift up the stencil,
and no two results are ever the same. The THANKS was cut from the center
of the panel after it was dried, and cut three more times from white card stock.

The letters were adhered together with the colored pieces on top and popped into
the negative space and adhered onto a Stone Gray card base. I stamped the
sentiment--one of my faves!--and finished off the card with sequins.

Visit My Favorite Things for more inspiration from the Creative Team and
see how they took on the Replay Challenge.

  1. Love the results of your technique, Donna! The stencil pattern looks amazing with the alphas on your sentiment!

  2. Hi Donna! What a nice surprise to have found my way from Keeway's blog. Thank you for sharing the technique to your BEAUTIFUL card. :)
