25 Days of Christmas Tags

I'm entering Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags just under the wire
with a tag using some older stamps from My Favorite Things.

I was inspired by Michelle Short's tag here, and the colors she used on her
tag's background. But I think I went a little heavy handed with the ink blending.

For the tag, I die cut the small card element from Blueprints 14 from
watercolor card stock and ink distressed with several colors of dye inks.

I spattered a little water over the surface and added the snowy bank.
After the surface was dried, I white embossed the sentiment. The bear
was colored with Copics and fussy cut, then adhered to the card with
dimensional tape and finished off with some licorice twine.

I'm off to peruse the gallery--there's so much tag-alicious inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by, and congrats to Tracey on another successful year!

  1. I love this! I personally think the darker background looks perfect for this, makes that bear really pop! :). Dotty

  2. You have a really pretty purple/blue /green blend there.

  3. Your colouring, as always Donna, is just fabulous and I love the sweet bear to pieces! Thank you so much for linking your tag up to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

  4. I love this polar bear set! The background looks amazing!

  5. Yep this guy just gets cuter at your house ... how do you do it? xx

  6. He is adorable, and very dapper in his winter attire ;-P

  7. How did I miss this post! This is such a darling tag! Beautiful coloring on the hat and scarf, and I think your sky is amazing, Donna!
