Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge--Anything Goes



I'm joining Paper Smooches Challenge this week--just under the wire--
since the theme is Anything Goes. That, and I wanted to play with the adorable
flip flop dies that I've had for a while. Here's my card.


See the texture on the flip flops? I had a scrap piece of watercolor paper that I stenciled
with MFT's Concentric Circle Grid and decided to use that for the flip flops.
I'm so glad that I kept it--I love the texture!

The sentiment is from Summer Lovin' and all the extra flowers are from the flip flop die set.
 
 
Here's a bit of trivia for you. In Hawaii, we refer to flip flops as "rubber slippers"
and every person I know owns at least a couple of pairs. Me? I own 5 pairs, 
and I even have one with a wedge heel...for added height!

    Love seeing this super sweet card again! The texture on those flip flops is terrific, as is the trivia.
    More trivia - I read somewhere that young people in Japan would never wear flip flops!


    Perhaps we should start a flip flop trivia page - LOL
