Today I'm sharing one more tag just under the wire for Ellen Hutson's
12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist. This time, I created a tag
with inspiration from Sandy Allnock's tag shown here:
Sandy used a Copic airbrush to create her gorgeous background. Here's my tag.
I ink distressed Picked Raspberry and Chipped Sapphire on a tag, spattered it with water
and added two of the three reindeer from Memory Box. I added some falling snow with
a white pigment pen and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. As a finishing touch, I added
some Distress Glitter to the ground and a seam binding ribbon.
The tag was attached to a snow dot embossed card and now I can chalk up
another Christmas card. Yay!
And since I did a ton of ink distressing, I'm linking this up to
Virginia's View #10 which is ALL THINGS DISTRESSED.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Looks wonderful.Jo x

ReplyDeleteSo stunning! Love your elegant tag!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I didn't like this tag (shhhh) -it just isn't my style. But I Love yours. I think your bolder colors and using Distress rather than an airbrush makes a big difference for me -your colors are so rich and as a fan of the water droplets in the Distress I love the background a lot. Also I just love your proportions better. Great job.
ReplyDeleteDonna, this is gorgeous...absolutely gorgeous!!! Super love this one!
