CAS(E) this Sketch 67

Here's this week's sketch by Chrissy.

And here's my take on it.

Two notebook pages were diecut--one from pink cardstock, and the other
from watercolor paper. The sentiment was white embossed on the watercolor piece and
distress inks were swooshed across the sentiment, causing a resist effect.

The pink piece was stamped with a woodgrain design in white ink.
I stapled the two pieces together and mounted them on a woodgrain embossed card base.
Small butterflies were added for a pop of color.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the design team interpreted
the sketch and welcome the awesome Maureen Merritt as our new team member!

Be sure to link up your card(s) by Thursday, March 13.
Thanks for visiting today!

  16. More intense colors + kraft ... you do this so darn well, Donna!! Love how you did a layered notebook page vs. a layered tag that's so popular now.
