Wishing Stars and Christmas Tree

Michele has been sharing the design team's cards using Stacey Yacula's
Sweetest Season on her blog, and today I'd like to share a couple of my cards here on my blog.

First up is Wishing Stars, stamped and colored with Copics.
Some Stickles were added for a bit of shine and the sentiment is from the same release.

My second card is the whimsical shaped Christmas Tree.
The tree was also colored with Copics and some highlights were added with a white pigment pen.
I used my favorite Reverse Wonky Rectangles and the card base
was embossed with a Sizzix folder.
The seam binding was dyed with Gathered Twigs distress inks.

You can find these adorable images and the entire Sweetest Season release
here in the Purple Onion Designs store.

  6. Ahh, there's that cool card shape again! It works so well with the funky tree you stamped on it. I saw that folder on sale but didn't know what I would use it for. Looks fantastic on your card with just the border showing!!
