The background is clear embossed with Hero Arts' Designer Woodgrain--love how that turned out!--and I embossed several pennants from the Build-a-Banner set. They were ink distressed with Victorian Velvet and Scattered Straw distress inks.
I used some Honeydew twine from The Twinery and the great tutorial from my blogging friend, Emily Leiphart, to make the little twine knots between the pennants. It took me several tries to make my knots look like Emily's "little roses", and I liked using the knots as embellishments instead of pearls. Thanks for a great tutorial, Emily!♥
