Fee Fi Faux Stitching

Hello there! Did you have a nice, long weekend? Here's another card made with the newest release from Purple Onion Designs. Super simple and easy to mass produce.

Stamps used: Heart Flower and Flower Quotes

Take a closer look at the "grass". Nope, I didn't have to whip out my sewing machine--it's stamped!

It's from a Stitchery set by Sassafras that's probably discontinued because I can't link it anywhere.

I do hope another stamp company will produce some stamps with stitches. I especially like the "wonky" stitching and the fact lazy ol' me doesn't have to drag out her sewing machine.

And for another look at these amazing stamps, check out this blog post from my sweet friend Emily. She was the winner of my recent giveaway which included a set of the Stitchery stamps. Her card is amazing and even her hubby was impressed!

Rumor has it that I have another set of these fun stamps somewhere....can you say "giveaway"?? Stay tuned and wish me luck in finding them!

Stamps: Purple Onion Designs, Sassafras
Ink: Colorbox fluid chalk, Memories
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink
Other: Copics, dimensional adhesive, Glossy Accents, corner rounder

  15. Oohhh, Donna, the faux stitching is so perfect as grass! I almost used one of the other stitches on a card I just finished but forgot before gluing down the image. Next time for sure! I love these stamps and need to show them off whenever I can. I do love the idea of not havingn to drag out the sewing machine (something I can only do when the kiddo is sleeping). Thanks for the mention (and I'm so happy that you got the card)! :D
