A black and white princess

Hi there! Just a quick post today, sharing a black and white card using Tiddly Inks' Everyday Princess. I didn't realize how much I would like coloring this way. It's pretty relaxing and not stressful at all. Especially if you don't have all the Copic colors, like me!

Rach gave a great tutorial here on black and white Copic coloring, and I tried to do shiny black hair like Lysa shared here. All in all, it's a fun and fast way to color an image and something different, too!

Stamps: Tiddly Inks, Cornish Heritage Farms
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink
Patterned paper: Papertrey Ink
Ink: Memento, Colorbox
Other: Copics, Nestabilities, sheer ribbon (thanks, Kelly!), puffy heart sticker, pop dots

I'm hoping to catch up with blog hopping this week! Apologies for popping up only so often but the gym has become my second home and I'm proud to say I've dropped a few pounds....with many more to go!

Thanks, always, for visiting! Hope you continue to have a great week!

  1. Love this card Donna. The black and white shading is really good, especially the hair. And I love the contrast with the coloured spotty card in the background. You're inspiring me to get some copics, which I've been trying not to do as I already have my Stampin Up markers and am running out of room for pens!
