Homework for Day 5 of Online Card Classes Watercolor Class is coloring an embossed image.
I finally got to use some Distress markers and I love how they react to water
and make coloring a breeze.
The sentiment was die cut from gold foil card stock and attached to a vellum band.
A few gold sequins finished off the card.
Day 6 was coloring stamped images and I made a Mother's Day card with the chicks
from Technique Tuesday. I colored each of the chicks with a swish of color and
wasn't concerned about staying within the lines. Although you can't see it well in the photo,
I added some shine to each of the birds with a Wink of Stella pen.
Remember you can sign up here for the class and have lifetime access
to all the lessons. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm so looking forward to homework!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me who's bird stamp set that is? Who makes it? Where can I get a set? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe Chickadees are by Technique Tuesday. You can find it online at scrapbbook.com or joann.com.
DeleteDonna - I've been looking for a double wedding ring stamp - found only a "klunky" one so far. Can you tell me whose stamp you used? I have just started playing with watercolor - and oh my, you inspire me! Mahalo for all you share! melanie
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie! I used Penny Black's "Allover Pattern" cling stamp. Hero Arts has a similar woodblock stamp called "Looped Circle". Either one will work with the watercolor technique.
DeleteTwo wonderful cards! TFS. Daria
