Here's our two guests, Alex and Alex--how cute is that?--who had to evacuate their Waikiki hotel and spent half the day with us, 700 feet above sea level.
I did not let them start stamping and embossing, but the male Alex was intrigued by my finished cards and I gave them one to take home, all the way to New Jersey!
They were the perfect guests--chatty, yet polite--and I'm glad we were able to calm their parents' fears that they were in a safe environment.
My heartfelt thanks for your concern and your emails, too! We are safe and all is good.
How sweet of you to host them and I'm sure their parents are very grateful. So glad that the storm was not as alarming as they made it out to be.
ReplyDeleteHugs!

ReplyDeleteThat was so awesome. Did the local authorities send out a plea to residents so they could evacuate their guests to your homes? Or did you already know them? Either way, it was a great gesture on your part!
