New Pure Innocence

My Favorite Things recently released some new Pure Innocence images and I really wanted this stamp all because of her pigtails. How cute is she?

I think most moms with daughters probably did this--grabbed whatever little hair they had and fashioned some pigtails...I know I did!

As I was passing through Target, this book caught my eye and I snapped the photo with my iPhone. Apologies for the bad photo!

I was wondering if I could replicate this look of simply highlighting certain parts of an image with a white Prisma pencil on kraft.

Here's what I came up with. What do you think?

It was fast and I liked the fact that I could use my Prismas again. They've been so neglected ever since Copics took over my craft table and I love the look of colored pencils on kraft.

And the countdown begins:
One week until I meet "Kelly Boo"!

And your experiment produced such a cute card.... love it. Love the use of white on Kraft. So funny, I took a photo at the mall last week also, but unlike you, I didn't make a cute card out of it... You are so inspiring!

Regarding the use of Prismacolor crayons, I follow the blog of a lady here in Ontario, Canada.
She is amazing at coloring with the Copics, but she also shades with her Prismacolor crayons. Her images have such depth... In case the link doesn't work, her blog is called "Heavens created this".
