CASual Fridays 105--Mapquest

CASual Fridays'  latest challenge is Mapquest--to use a travel related theme

on your clean and simple project. Here's my card.

I used a bit of FabRip from Studio Calico that I received in a prize package
from Moxie Fab World for my first Moxie Fab win.
FabRips are sticky on the back so I just trimmed a piece for the Polaroid
and added the gold embossed geotag. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Nakuru? Never heard of it, but I'd like to visit one day. Maybe.

CASology--Yellow

The cue word at CASology is YELLOW. I'm not a huge fan of the color

but our older daughter is. Big time. Most of her wardrobe is yellow as is her handbag
and numerous accessories. Here's my take on the cue word.

I was tempted to try this with some ink and a paintbrush but 
I chose Hero Arts' new Brush Strokes set to make an abstract sun.

CAS(E) this Sketch! 32

Here's this week's sketch by N@Ali over at CAS(E) this Sketch.

And here's my take on it.

I used Hero Arts' new Brush Strokes set and stamped the background
in assorted colors of Fresh Inks and shadow inks. The abstract "sun" is also from
the Brush Strokes set, popped up on dimensional foam.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

 Here is my card using Simply Tags Everyday designed by Nina Yang and
the matching set of Elle-ments dies that even includes a reinforcement die.

The tone on tone tag background was made by stamping on kraft card stock

with Versamark ink. The tags were die cut from Avery Elle's heavy card stock

and the sentiments are from All Squared Up that fit nicely on the smaller tag. 

I used Versafine Onyx Black--my favorite black ink for sentiments and detailed images.

Oh Yeah, Avery Elle!

 

 

   Today I'm sharing a set of cards using Oh Yeah, a fun set
   designed by fellow teammate Heather Campbell that works
   for both card making and journaling.

I used the negative portion of the speech bubble and created small

4 by 4" notecards. The speech bubble was inked in assorted colors of pigment ink,
together with a single sentiment and the exclamation point. Such a fun set of notecards--
and so quick to put together!

Remember that from now until the end of June, every stamp order from Avery Elle
