CAS(E) this Sketch 37

This week, Karolyn has this fun sketch for us.

 

 

Here's my take on it.

I decided to go with a skinny (3.5 by 5") top folding card.

I used the hearts from Avery Elle's Love You Lots Clear Photopolymer Stamps

and stamped them ombré-ish. Sorta. The sentiment is from the same set.

I rounded off the bottom corners and scored some lines on the top

to mimic the lines on the hearts.

Avery Elle's Texture Tiles

Today I'm sharing some tags using Avery Elle's Texture Tiles, a unique stamp set 

designed by my teamie, Nina Yang, who also designed the matching Elle-ments Tag dies.

I used the stripe tile and stamped the bottom portion of the tags

in Tsukineko's Graphite Black Ink and added some blooms and leaves

from Petals and Stems. I love the contrast between the black lines and the colorful blooms!
All of the sentiments are by Avery Elle, and I topped off the tags with black and white twine.

Neon and Polka Dots

One card, two challenges. Here's the card.

For CASology's NEON challenge, I searched for the "neon-est" colors of card stock

that I had and die cut the sentiment several times.

I was hoping that mounting everything on kraft would give the illusion of neon.

I saved the leftover circles from the o's and die cut some punctuation marks
for the smaller pink dots. All the dots were adhered, some with dimensional tape.
I'll also be entering CASual Fridays' #109--POLKA DOTS.

I die cut the heart and bird and handcut the banner, then found
the perfect sentiment to go with it.
