Winter Wonderland tags


The current challenge at the Penny Black blog is to create gift tags. For my tags I used some Spellbinder ornament dies and the adorable birds from the Winter Wonderland set.


I sponged the background before I removed it from the die and I stamped each of the birds from the set. They were all colored with Copics and I dotted some falling "faux snow" with White Opal Liquid Pearls. Liquid Pearls were also dabbed on the furry parts of the Santa caps.


The sentiments are from the Winter Wonderland and Winter Wonders stamps sets.
I knotted some red grosgrain ribbon and added a bit of twine and the tags were done.

    OMG! These little birds are absolutely precious! I might just have to hunt these down. They are perfect for your tags and I love all of the little details that make them special, like the faux snow and the Liquid Pearls on the little hats. Wonderful!!!

    I just volunteered to do a charity bazaar where I will be selling Christmas Tags...my first adventure in selling my paper crafts and what a find to see these lovely tags. Went online and found the stamp set just minutes ago, can't wait for them to arrive and to begin having fun.

    The cutest tags ever! I just saw this posting yesterday, and I have been trying to hunt down the die you used.......The only Spellbinders I can find don't seem to have the same shape ornament. Do you by any chance recall which one you used? Thanks so much!
