The latest contest theme at Hero Arts is wedding or congratulatory cards
and the technique is watercoloring. I'm trying to use some of my "older" stamps
that have never touched any ink before I invest in some new stamps. Yay, me!
I'm entering this card that came together rather quickly, mainly because it only
uses one stamp--Hero Arts' Traditional Butterfly. I first embossed the butterflies
onto vellum, but they turned out a little wonky from the heat, so I chose ivory cardstock.

I cut out the card and frame with Reverse Wonky Rectangles and embossed with Tim Holtz' Texture Fades folder which reminds me of a screen. The leaves are Sizzlits from Stampin Up and I added pearls on the butterflies and the background.
I wish that I made this card for our daughter's wedding. I didn't plan well and had to resort to a (gasp!) Hallmark card instead. Maybe I'll save this for their one year anniversary...
Thanks, always, for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
