MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #312

It's time for a new MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
Here's Sketch #312.

And here's how I interpreted the sketch--with a Yeti!

This little guy was cut and colored and waiting to be put on a card. I trimmed
a piece of striped paper with the rectangle element from Blueprints 29
and adhered it to a Natural card base.

A small piece of Summer Splash card stock was cut with a Horizontal
Stitched Strip Die-namics and adhered to the card. I popped up the Yeti
with dimensional adhesive and white embossed the sentiment. The card
was finished off with a few enamel dots.

on how you can win up to a $20 MFT gift voucher!

MFT December Card Kit--Fancy Flowers Day 2

Today the Creative Team is sharing more projects using the Fancy Flowers
Card Kit with MFT products you may already own.

I have two projects to share with you today. The first features a watercoloring
technique that I learned from my former MFT teammie, Amy Lee.

I white embossed several flowers and leaves on watercolor card stock,
then ink distressed with Distress inks. Then I blended some water over
the images and when it was dried, I went over with darker colors to
give the piece dimension.

I framed the piece and stamped the sentiment, then mounted the panel
to a top folding white card base. In hindsight, I should have chosen another
sentiment as this card seems a little too colorful to convey sympathy.

For my second project, I adhered flowers and leaves onto a tag, and cut
out the sentiment on the bottom. The tag was adhered to a card base that
was stamped with Lined Up Dots.

If you haven't done so already, grab your Fancy Flowers Card Kit here in
the MFT Store! Once it's sold out, it won't be restocked so get it while you can!
We'd love to see your projects using the Card Kit or any MFT products, so
remember to use #mftstamps whenever you share on social media.

MFT December Card Kit--Fancy Flowers Day 1

Did you grab your early release Fancy Flowers Card Kit yet? It's a gorgeous kit
that will have you creating tons of floral projects just in time for spring!

Today the Creative Team is sharing "in the box" projects using primarily
products from the kit, plus some essential supplies and coloring medium of
choice. Here's my card.

To color the images, I white embossed them on watercolor card stock,
then used daubers to ink them and cut them with the matching dies.
A Gravel Gray panel was cut with the rectangle element from BP 24,
and the sentiment was cut into it.

I taped the back of the letters and filled in the spaces with white letters.
I used a stamp to do the "controlled" spattering to mimic baby's breath,
then adhered the flowers and leaves over it. The panel was popped up over a
Gravel Gray card base.

CAS(E) this Sketch #202

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch #202 and it's a three weeker, which means
you have three weeks to link up your card(s) and we'll all have time
to enjoy the holidays!

Meet this week's sketch, compliments of our teammate Leigh.

And here's what I came up with.

I white embossed a flurry of snowflakes on watercolor card stock, then ink
distressed with several colors of Distress inks. I spattered both water and
white paint on the surface, and added the sentiment. The panel was cut with
the rectangle element from Blueprints 24 and adhered to a white card base.

We hope you'll join the challenge and link up your card(s) by
Thursday, January 5th, and hope to see you in the gallery!
