Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I'm joining the fun at the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
Have you seen the gallery? It's filling up fast with so much java inspiration!
Here's my card.

I scribbled some autumnal colors with Zig Clean Color markers on watercolor
paper then die cut the Memory Box coffee mugs. The base was made with
Zigs + water colored in ombré fashion.

The mugs were adhered, and the sentiment was embossed on the bottom.
There's a lot of truth to that sentiment, and words to live by, no?

Thanks for hopping by! Big thanks to Amy, Chaitali, and Kimberly
for another successful caffeine infused blog hop!

(Edited to add: Adding this to the Online Card Classes Watercolor Medium gallery
since I used Zig Clean Color pens for a majority of the card.)

CAS(E) this Sketch 142

CAS(E) this Sketch 142 is brought to you by our teammie Leigh.

Here's my take on it.

Hexagons were cut from watercolor paper and colored with Zig Clean Color markers.
I adhered them to a Grout Gray card base that was trimmed and mounted to a
black card base. The card was finished off with label sentiments and enamel dots.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my teammies interpreted the sketch and
join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, October 1st and you could be
guest designing with us! Thanks for stopping by!

MFT Die-namics Design--Flowers and Foliage

MFT's collection of Flowers and Leaves Die-namics runs the gamut from lovely layers
to rolled dimensional delights; romantic, vintage, bold & graphic. There's a design
for virtually any application and our team is sharing a little bit of everything for
this month's Die-namics Design Challenge.

My card uses the new Fall Florals that, thankfully, have matching dies.
After die cutting the flowers and leaves from watercolor paper, I inked the
coordinating flowers and leaves with Zig markers and spritzed them with water
before stamping them on the die cuts.

A Grout Gray panel was stamped with the Burlap Background in coordinating ink
and die cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24. All the flowers and
leaves were mounted to the panel, together with the Label Maker Sentiments.
The stamped panel was then adhered to a Grout Gray card base.

CAS(E) this Sketch 141

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 141 brought to you by N@ Ali.

And here's my take on it.

You gotta love a penguin with a cocktail, hanging on to the last days of summer.
This little guy was sitting in my stash of die cuts, waiting to be used.
I inked distressed a piece of watercolor card stock with two colors of ink,
and cut it with a rounded square die.

The kraft card base was stamped with a burlap design, and the penguin,
round scribbles and sentiment were all attached to it. The card was finished off
with a few sequins.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of my teammates
interpreted the sketch, and join us if you can. Link up your card(s)
by Thursday, September 24th. Hope to see you in the gallery!
