MFT April Release Countdown--Day 4

It's Day 4 of MFT's April Release Countdown!

This month, Birdie Brown brings us Up in the Air--an adorable set with a

hot air balloon theme. I paired it with Spring Scene Builder Die-namics that
helps create a super quick scene on your card!

There are several critters to choose from to ride in the gondola--I chose a bear.
The balloon and bear were colored with Copics and cut with the matching dies.
 Clouds were cut from watercolor card stock and inked on the bottom.

The tops of the trees were cut with Sour Apple card stock and ink distressed
to give them some dimension. The tree trunks and fence were cut and colored
with Copics. I also cut the Stitched Valley Die-namics from Sour Apple card stock
and ink distressed them for dimension.

All the pieces were adhered to a white card base, and I finished off the card
by stamping a sentiment on the largest cloud.

MFT April Release Countdown--Day 5

Hello, and welcome to MFT's April Release Countdown!
This month, there's lots of springtime cuteness, and Day 5 starts off with Springtime 
Critters and Springtime Blooms.

I made a shaped card, giving you an early peek at some new Die-namics sets--Stitched
Dome STAX and Stitched Dome Frames.

The bunny and blooms were stamped on watercolor card stock and colored with Copics
then diecut with the matching Die-namics. The largest Stitched Dome was cut twice from
Natural card stock, and the back piece was scored to form a hinge.

Three frames were cut and layered together, then adhered to the card base. The blooms
and bunny were popped up on the card, and the sentiment was white embossed beneath
them. I also dressed up the bunny with a floral headpiece--she's quite the fashionista!

brings us Sketch #215, and it looks like this.

And here's my take on it. 

Don't you just LOVE that sentiment? I'd use it on every birthday card,
if I could. I paired it with a pink balloon and adhered it to an embossed
panel. Teeny white stars finished off the card.

MFT March Creative Construction With Blueprints--Scallops

Dainty, delicate scallops add femininity and softness to your creations. 

Our collection of Blueprints includes many scallop options that allow you 

to create panels of any size. You’ll be sure to find the perfect finishing touch 

for any project. Join our team this month as we share our scalloped projects.

I love scallops and associate it with babies and cuteness. I made a shaped card
using MFT's first set of Blueprints--Blueprints 1.

I adhered the yellow checked paper to white card stock, then cut it with
the scalloped panel from Blueprints 1. The edges were ink distressed with
yellow ink to give the scallops more definition.

I scored a hinge on a back panel and adhered both panels together to
create a standing card. Here's the back view of the card, assembled.

The elephant and flowers were colored with Copics, cut with the matching
Die-namics and adhered to the card. I grounded the ellie with an oval shadow.
The card was finished off with the congratulatory sentiment. Notice that
the elephant is giving us a "high five"? Totally unplanned.
