Time Out Challenge #276 -- Cozy

The latest cue word for Time Out Challenge #276 is COZY.

How about a cozy pair of bunny slippers? Yes, please!

I've been an off and on subscriber to Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club, but
when I saw the bunny slippers, I was back on. Our daughter had a white bunny and
one Christmas I received a pair of bunny slippers from her.
These remind me of Kumo 💗

I tried my best to make the legs look "cross legged" and used papers from a long
retired pad of Lawn Fawn papers. After assembling the legs on the card I stamped
and white embossed the sentiment

I'm hoping to put together the other slippers in the set. The penguin is next on
the list. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge -- SNOWFLAKES

My card for Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge 11 was chosen as a Top Pick,
and I was invited to guest for this month's challenge together with the other Top Picks.
The theme for the challenge is SNOWFLAKES.

Here's my card.

Two MFT mugs were cut from watercolor card stock. One was inked in green and the other in
pink. After embossing both with a snowflake embossing folder, I used a sanding block over
the surface to remove the color and make the snowflakes stand out.

The two part sentiment was silver embossed then cut with the matching dies. I tripled up
the sentiment and adhered it under the mugs. Snowflake sequins finished off the card.

Come and join this month's challenge!
Link up a newly created Christmas themed card with at least one SNOWFLAKE.
The sponsor is Doodlebugswa and the prize is a $25 gift code to their store.
You have until Wednesday, January 25th at 11:59pm PST  to enter.
Hope to see you in the gallery!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge -- Halloween/Fall Inspiration

I'm joining Lawn Fawn's Lawn Fawnatics Challenge which is all about
Halloween/Fall and has a great inspiration photo. And of course I was inspired
by the leaves.

The colors of my leaves came from a Starbucks ad and I'm happy that I
finally got to use those colors on my project. Aren't those pumpkins gorgeous?

I used all Distress Oxide inks on Lawn Fawn's Stitched Leaves, then adhered
them to a slimline card. "Thanks" was cut three times from kraft card stock,
then adhered together to form a thick sentiment and popped up on the leaves.

Ah, if only there were pumpkins and leaves in those colors.
The world would be a prettier, and possibly kinder place.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #75--Spectacular Skies

I can thank "sheltering at home" and housekeeping for discovering stamps
and dies that I've accumulated for YEARS, prompting me to enter some
new-to-me challenges.

I have a few Lawn Fawn stamps that go way back so I went through my stash
to enter the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #75 using three different sets
on my project.

https://www.lawnfawnatics.com/challenges/lawn-fawnatics-challenge-75-spectacular-skies

I masked off a portion of a card front and ink distressed a sky with three
colors of Hero Arts Reactive Inks. The little critter from Really High Five was
popped up on the card and I substituted an umbrella from Hello Baby.

A couple of clouds and a two part sentiment were added and the card was
finished off with a rounded corner.

Ok, so it's not a spectacular sky but I had fun nonetheless.
Thanks for stopping by!

Edited to add: My card was featured on Lawn Fawn's Fawny Friday!

Thanks so much, Lawn Fawn!

Tag You're It Challenge #85--HAPPY EASTER

Are you ready? We're hoppin' into the next Tag You're It Challenge!
Here's the theme for  Challenge #85--EASTER.

And here's my tag, compliments of Lawn Fawn.  I am totally in love with that bunny!

Nearly all the dies came from Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Spring Time
Add-On. The "grass" was part of a label die that I lengthened to fit the tag.
An older Lawn Fawn sentiment and green and white twine finished off the tag.

We'd love to see your Easter-themed tags in the gallery! Link up your tag(s) by
Wednesday, April 24th at 9AM EST. The winner will join us on a future challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!

Sending Warm & Cozy Hugs

I managed to make another card for the Fall/Winter 2018 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
This time, I paired Concord & 9th and Lawn Fawn products.

I stamped one of the hipster girls on kraft card stock and did minimal coloring
and highlights with colored pencils and a white pigment pen. In keeping with
the coffee theme, I added a to-go cup with a mitten over the image.

I'm wondering if I can possibly squeeze in another card?
Stay tuned, but don't hold your breath. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lawnscaping One Layer Challenge

I'm squeezing this under the wire for Lawnscaping Challenge 89--One Layer--
to create a one layer card.

Here's my card. I was so excited to finally ink up Lawn Fawn's Hello Baby stamp set
and that adorable little bunny. And umbrella.

All the images were colored with Copics and I added a few extra details
with a white pigment pen, shine from an Aqualip pen, and glaze
from a Wink of Stella pen. I wish you could see it.

Thanks, always, for stopping by!

More Lawn Fawn Leaves

Blogging friend Dawn Turley encouraged me to enter this card
over at Die Cut Diva's since this month's theme is Autumn or Animals.
I had enough leaves to create two more cards and decided to enter the challenge.

Here are the cards, made with leftover leaves.

I love the mixed font sentiments from Jane's Doodles and I LOVE
Lawn Fawn's Stitched Leaves dies. Can you tell?

Thanks for stopping by!

Thankful Leaves

After watching Lawn Fawn's Kelly Marie share her new leaf dies here,
I was inspired to play with them and created a card.

I think I'll enter this in Moxie Fab World's Handmade Cards: Color Media Challenge
just under the wire.

I die cut the set of leaves on several colors of Avery Elle cardstock
and ink distressed them with Wild Honey and Walnut Stain distress inks.
I tried to form them as if they were floating down and the sentiment
is from Jane's Doodles.

And yes, I die cut pink and blue leaves! By the time they were ink distressed,
they took on colors of their own. A bit whimsical, perhaps, but I love
how vibrant it looks.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
