Tag You're It Challenge #89--Umbrellas

Tag You're It Challenge #89 has a fun, colorful theme--UMBRELLAS!
Here's the inspiration photo.

And here's my take on it.

Five umbrellas were cut from watercolor card stock and four of them were ink
distressed then adhered onto a light gray tag. The sentiment strip was adhered to
the bottom of the tag. Raindrops were added with Nuvo Crystal Glaze and
finished off with the gray and white twine tied through the tag.

You have until Thursday, June 19th to link up your tag(s) and as the winner of
the challenge, you'll be invited to guest with us on the next challenge!

Sadly, this is my last challenge post as a Tag You're It Challenge DT member.
It's been such a fun ride and I thoroughly enjoyed creating tags and being a part of
an amazing team! Huge thanks to Tracey for the invitation to rejoin the group
and I hope to be playing along when time permits

Tag You're It Challenge #87--Spring Colours

It's time for a new Tag You're It Challenge. Here's the inspiration photo
for Tag You're It #87.

And here's my tag.

All of the design elements were cut from white card stock and ink distressed
in springtime colors. I adhered them to a tag and stamped the sentiment.
Gray and white twine was threaded through the tag and I scored a few lines
on the tag for a bit of interest.

Join the challenge and as the winner, you could be featured on a future
challenge! Link up your tag(s) by Wednesday, May 22nd.
We hope to see you in the gallery!

Tag You're It Challenge #85--HAPPY EASTER

Are you ready? We're hoppin' into the next Tag You're It Challenge!
Here's the theme for  Challenge #85--EASTER.

And here's my tag, compliments of Lawn Fawn.  I am totally in love with that bunny!

Nearly all the dies came from Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Spring Time
Add-On. The "grass" was part of a label die that I lengthened to fit the tag.
An older Lawn Fawn sentiment and green and white twine finished off the tag.

We'd love to see your Easter-themed tags in the gallery! Link up your tag(s) by
Wednesday, April 24th at 9AM EST. The winner will join us on a future challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tag You're It Challenge #83--Polka Dots

Welcome to this week's Tag You're It Challenge #83.
This week's theme is a fun one--POLKA DOTS!  I LOVE polka dots--they're add a fun
and playful touch--and I think most folks do, too. Here's the inspiration photo.

And here's my tag for the challenge.

Black and white dotted paper was adhered to a tag shape, topped off with the
puddle jumper, sun, and sentiment. Black and white twine completed the tag.

Now let's see your tags with lots of dots! Visit the Tag You're It blog for more
inspiration from the team. You have until Wed Mar 27th to link up your tag(s)
and we hope to see you in the gallery!

Tag You're It Challenge #81

Tag lovers unite! I'm sure you've heard the news--Tag You're It Challenge is back!
I was thrilled when Tracey invited me back on the team with a new bi-monthly
format and new challenge themes, too.

Challenge #80 started on February 1st and today we bring you Challenge #81.
Here's the inspiration for this week--a color challenge.

The challenge is to incorporate Pantone Color for 2019--Living Coral on your tag.
Here's my tag for the challenge.

I used my favorite Altenew bloom and ink distressed and smooshed Abandoned
Coral over all three pieces. Watercolor Stripes was stenciled over a Neat and Tangled
tag and stamped with the hybrid sentiment.

After flicking some black paint over the tag, I assembled the flower then adhered it,
together with the leaves, to the tag. A hand dyed nylon ribbon threaded through the hole
finished off the tag.

Visit Tag You're it Challenge for more inspiration from the members in Group B
and join us if you can! The deadline for submitting your tag(s) is Wednesday,
February 27th. We hope to see you in the gallery!

Tag You're It--A Recollection of Tags

Tracey McNeely has officially closed the Tag You're It Challenge so she
asked former DT members to take a walk down memory lane and share our
favorite tag. Here's mine.

This was back in June of 2014 and Jackie Rockwell, the creator of the challenge
invited me to be on the design team. Being a lover of tags, I accepted and began
my tag making journey.

I liked this tag because it was cute and colorful and the little umbrella probably
had a little something to do with my choice (Wink!) I even managed to put the tag
onto a card.

Here's a collage of just some of my tags I created while I was on the design team
until June 2015.

Thanks, Tracey, for taking over the challenge from Jackie and running it so well.
Tag You're It will be missed but not forgotten, and hopefully return one day soon

Tag You're It Challenge #57

I'm joining--just under the wire--Tag You're It Challenge #57 with
Richard Breaks and his fabulous tag. Here's the inspiration photo.

And here's how I was inspired.

I loved the color of the coffee in his coffee pot, so I ink distressed
MFT's teacup with the closest colors that I had. The idea for the saucer
came from Debra James and her MFT Superstar entry. Genius!

The coffee beans were stamped in Versamark for a tone on tone look, and
the sentiment is also from Altenew. I finished off the tag with a red heart
on the cup, and a checkered ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tag You're It Challenge #54

As the winner for Tag You're It! Challenge #52, I was invited to join the
design team and play along with Challenge #54.

Here is this week's inspiration tag, compliments of Michelle Short.

And here's how I was inspired.

I inked up Hero Arts Layering Goldfish and the Misti made it so easy to line up
the different stamp layers. The ink distressed panel was in my stash, and I used
a rounded tag die to cut out the tag shape.

After stamping the goldfish, I used the coordinating dies and popped him up
on the tag, and stamped the sentiment. Nuvo Crystal Drops formed the bubbles,
and the tag was finished off with a strip of dotted paper and some twine.

Visit the Tag You're It Challenge blog for all the details and see more
inspiration from the design team.
