MFT November Die-namics Design

 'TIS THE SEASON FOR TAGS

Christmas is just around the corner and it's time to embellish your packages
with tags accented with our extensive collection of holiday-appropriate Die-namics
My Favorite Things has the tools, and our team is bringing the imagination!

For my tags, I used the new Cement Gray card stock and die cut some
stitched edge tags. They were stamped with the Diagonal Stripes Background
in the same ink for a tone on tone look. The sentiment was heat embossed
with silver embossing powder and I kept the design simple by adding
a few snowflakes in different sizes.

The tags were finished off with some silver sequins and sheer silver ribbon.
These tags could be tied onto a gift or adhered to a card base for a quick,
last minute card. Tags are so versatile!

MFT Die-namics Design--Flowers and Foliage

MFT's collection of Flowers and Leaves Die-namics runs the gamut from lovely layers
to rolled dimensional delights; romantic, vintage, bold & graphic. There's a design
for virtually any application and our team is sharing a little bit of everything for
this month's Die-namics Design Challenge.

My card uses the new Fall Florals that, thankfully, have matching dies.
After die cutting the flowers and leaves from watercolor paper, I inked the
coordinating flowers and leaves with Zig markers and spritzed them with water
before stamping them on the die cuts.

A Grout Gray panel was stamped with the Burlap Background in coordinating ink
and die cut with the rectangle element from Blueprints 24. All the flowers and
leaves were mounted to the panel, together with the Label Maker Sentiments.
The stamped panel was then adhered to a Grout Gray card base.

MFT Die-namics Design--Rise to the Occasion

Join us for this month’s Die-namics Design as we go up, up, and away with projects
featuring balloon Die-namics. Patterned, painted, textured, and peek-a-boo--
so many fun embellishing options with this iconic image that just says party.
Celebrate with us, won’t you?

I'm celebrating with the gorgeously huge balloon from Blueprints 26 and I used
the bottom right Blueprint sketch found here. The Star Celebration Background was
white embossed on watercolor paper and ink distressed with Razzle Berry Dye Ink,
then die cut with the balloon die.

The balloon string and knot were cut from Black Licorice card stock,
and the hybrid sentiment is from Count the Stars and Die-namics Brushstroke
Birthday Greetings.
