Meet Sketch #178.

Here's my take on it, and yes, another little pig makes an appearance.

A piece of gray gingham was cut with the rectangle element from
Blueprints 24 and adhered to a top folding Stone Gray card. The little pig
was stamped with Bubble Gum Hybrid Ink and colored with Copics.

I die cut an oval shadow and adhered it to the card to ground the pig.
I added a couple of flowers and stamped the sentiment under him.

It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things.
Here's Sketch #286.

And here's my take on it. I couldn't resist the backside of Birdie Brown's adorable
little piggy! A sheet of gray chevron paper was cut with the rectangle element from
Blueprints 24 and adhered to a white card base.

I adhered the farm fence and added a strip of grass over it. The little pig was stamped with
Bubble Gum Hybrid ink and colored with Copics, then diecut with the matching dies.
I colored and cut some flowers and popped them up over the fence and grass and
finished off with the punny sentiment.

MFT June Card Kit Release Day

I have one more card to share using this fun kit and of course, I had to use
one of my favorite coloring techniques--ink distressing.

  The candles and sentiment were white embossed on watercolor
card stock, and the flames were embossed separately to get them as close
together as possible. A combination of Distress and MFT's dye inks were
blended over the embossed images, then spattered with water.

I adhered a strip of diagonal stripes on the card base, and trimmed the panel to fit.
The card was finished off with some clear sequins.

MFT June Card Kit Release Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of My Favorite Things June Card Kit Release!
Today we're sharing "out of the box" projects, using MFT supplies that we have on hand.

I die cut scraps of older patterned papers and lined them up haphazardly on a card.
Using a dauber, I added the candles' glow above each of the candles, then added the
flames that were cut from Lemon Drop card stock with the little heart die.

I added a strip of black diagonal stripes on the bottom and finished off with
the sentiment. And although you can't see it from the photo, I added a bit of
clear Wink of Stella to each of the flames for a brighter glow and highlights
with a White Pearl Kirarina pen.
