And here's my take on it.

I couldn't resist using My Favorite Things new Super Boy and colored him with Copics.

The sentiment comes with the set, and I added his eye mask and a few stars
for some superhero fun.

PURR-fect Sentiments

Today I'm up on the Hero Arts blog sharing a card with a brand new sentiment set

that's part of the 2015 Summer Catalog. Here's a peek at my card.

 

The sentiments complement Playful Animals, as well as other sets in the release.

April Showers

I'm joining the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp where this week's theme is

April Showers and/or Spring Flowers. Since they're showcasing Memory Box products,

I pulled out the Memory Box umbrella die for my card.

I masked off a portion of the card with Post It Tape and ink distressed with 

two colors of Distress inks and spattered it with water. Three umbrellas were die cut

from watercolor cardstock and ink distressed, then adhered to the panel.

 

I added some "raindrops" with Glossy Accents and finished off the card

with my favorite Paper Smooches sentiment.

Tag You're It Challenge 19

Tag You're It Challenge 19 is this gorgeous tag from our teammie Jeanne.

Here's my take on her tag. I was inspired by the color combo that she used
and her reference to "feathers".

The tag was ink distressed and over stamped with a triangle background 
and the Dina Wakley bird was colored, fussy cut, and adhered with dimensional tape.
I added the sentiment and finished off the tag with some spatters and enamel dots.

CAS(E) this Sketch 118

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 118 brought to you by Chrissy.

And here's my take on it.

I tattered up a doily with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and gold embossing powder.
The hybrid sentiment is from the Shimelle collection and Hero Arts and
I did some wonky layering with Studio Calico patterned papers, 
faux gold stitching and a few peach colored sequins.

And thanks to all the layering, I'm entering Virginia's View Challenge #14
which is all about LAYERS and DIMENSION.
