Welcome back to My Favorite Things September Release Countdown!
Day 4 features new images from Birdie Brown and you KNOW that there's
going to be cuteness involved. Meet Happy Hedgehogs and a peek at some
scalloped sweetness!
I think scallops make everything cuter--don't you? I cut white card stock
with the pointed scallop border and adhered it to a kraft card base that was
covered with dotted paper.
Two hedgehogs and mushrooms were colored and cut with the matching
dies. I added some grass to ground them, then popped them up on the panel.
I finished off the card with the sweet, punny sentiment.
Next up is a card using the new Chevron Grid Background stamp.
And oh yes, you know that I had to ink distress!
I gold embossed it on watercolor card stock and blended several distress
inks over it. To give the panel some dimension, I filled in some spaces with
matching Copic markers, being careful not to touch the embossed lines.
I die cut the "thanks" twice from brown card stock, and adhered them
together to form a thicker sentiment. The rest of the sentiment was gold
embossed and trimmed into a banner. They were adhered to the card and
finished off with a sprinkling of gold sequins.
