HOME is Where the Heart Is

Catherine Pooler has a new home for her gorgeous, redesigned blog and she's throwing a
Housewarming Party--and everyone's invited!

The party runs like a regular challenge with prizes from some awesome sponsors:
CASual Fridays, Clearly Besotted Stamps, Ellen Hutson, Hero Arts, Penny Black,
Pretty Pink Posh, Some Odd Girl, and a one year membership to Stamp Nation!

The theme for the challenge is HOME. Each card that you link up earns you three entries
and you earn another entry by commenting on and becoming a subscriber
to Catherine's You Tube channel.

Here's my card for the challenge.

I masked off a rectangle on watercolor card and sponged on some distress inks.
Using dies, I die cut a house, bird, and branches and assembled them on the card.
The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Visit Catherine's blog for all the guidelines and details.
Catherine is also giving out a party favor to try Stamp Nation for just $1.

Go here for all the info on the trial for Stamp Nation and join the party!
You have until Wednesday, September 17th to link up your card
and winners will be announced on the 18th.
Hope to see you there!

Tag You're It! Challenge #6

Tag You're It Challenge #6 is this beauty, brought to you by Karin.

Here's how I was inspired.

Truthfully, I had the butterfly and branch in my scrap pile, waiting for a home.
I stamped the striped background, attached the die cuts, then stamped the Hero Arts sentiment
and added the white enamel dots. I finished off the tag with some hand dyed rayon seam binding.

Visit Tag You're It to see the winners from Challenge #5, and how my teammates were inspired
by Karin's tag. Link up your tag(s) by Wednesday, September 24th.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch 92

CAS(E) this Sketch 92 is a fun one from teammate Sam. Check it out.

And here's my literal take on it.

The banner flags were die cut from a scrap piece of ink smooshed watercolor paper.
I knew that one day it would come in handy for a funky banner.
The text patterned paper is from Pebbles' Sunny Side collection
and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Be sure to visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how my teammates interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, September 18th.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you in the gallery!

Lawnscaping One Layer Challenge

I'm squeezing this under the wire for Lawnscaping Challenge 89--One Layer--
to create a one layer card.

Here's my card. I was so excited to finally ink up Lawn Fawn's Hello Baby stamp set
and that adorable little bunny. And umbrella.

All the images were colored with Copics and I added a few extra details
with a white pigment pen, shine from an Aqualip pen, and glaze
from a Wink of Stella pen. I wish you could see it.

Thanks, always, for stopping by!
