Sweet Charlotte

When I saw this card by my Flickr friend Cheryl, I knew that I had to get Charlotte. I love her smirky grin and coloring her was so much fun. I was going in a vintage direction but once I added the pinks and yellows, she started to look a little....sweet.

I'm liking these slightly bigger 5x5" cards. Thanks to my sweet friend Alice, who turned me on to making my cards a little bigger. And I love sewing around the edges (I only have yellow thread in the machine!) and distressing them. Baby steps towards zigzag stitching!
