MFT Wed Sketch Challenge #363

And here's my take on this simple sketch.

For the focal point on the card, I white embossed three trees, then ink distressed
with Distress inks. After spritzing water over the piece, I trimmed it and adhered
it to a Stone Gray card base.

The sentiment was white embossed on a scrap piece of black card stock and
cut with a fishtail banner. The banner was adhered to the card and finished
off with "snow" from a white pigment pen, and sequins.

Visit the Card Challenges blog for all the details on how you could win a
$50 MFT gift voucher as the random winner of the weekly challenge.
Hope to see you in the gallery!

  1. I always look at the MFT sketch first and try not to look at your card. Think about how I would use the sketch for a second, and then I look at your take. You might hear me say "Waaaa!" every Wednesday. :-) (We say this in Japanese when impressed.)
Love the calming color combo and that you used only the top part of the tree stamp! Hideko
