Using watercolor paper, I inked up Hero Arts' Large Solid Flower with distress inks and spritzed some water on top before I stamped it. Lifted up the stamp and placed it inked side UP, on the table.
As I was studying the stamped image, I must have tossed another pre folded card over the stamp. I didn't like the result, and thought about stamping it again.
I looked for the stamp and (gasp!) the card was laying on top of it! Just a few seconds and there were trace bits of ink already setting in. Dang! I didn't want to toss the card and thought I'd try to save it. I spritzed more water on the stamp and overstamped where most of the image was and......
I liked it!
I stamped the sentiment, rounded the corner and it was done under 2 minutes! I know it looks like a 2 minute card, but the way it came to be was just too funny! Even if I wanted to, I don't think I could ever replicate it.
And then I saw that I missed the deadline......(Big sigh!) But it made me laugh and I hope you do, too!
Oh, and I want to share a gift bestowed upon by two VERY generous and sweet friends. A Silhouette Cameo! Please excuse the strange shot, but UPS just delivered it after dinner, and the box was huge! The kitchen was the closest (and neatest!) place and luckily, I looked decent, too.
I'll be playing with it this weekend, and I'm so glad that I signed up for A Cut Above. Now to plug it in, and catch up with the tutorials! Wish me luck!
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
