MFT February New Product Launch and Release

It's time!! You may now purchase My Favorite Things February Release!
All new products are waiting for you here in the MFT Store. Visit all the designers'
blogs and comment to win one of two $100 MFT gift vouchers!

I'd like to share a couple of projects using two new word Die-namics--Big Birthday
and Wish, and possibly add to your shopping list.

I've recently jumped on the alcohol ink bandwagon and one day I experimented with
different color combinations on Yupo paper. All products are available in the MFT Store.

It was fun to create the backgrounds but I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them.
And then I thought about pairing them up with the new word Die-namics.

For the Wish card, I trimmed the panel down and die cut the WISH from the center.
I also cut the word from silver glitter card stock. After adhering tape behind the negative
space, I inlaid the silver letters in the respective spaces. I adhered the piece to a Stone
Gray card base and silver embossed the second part of the sentiment.

I did the exact same thing with the Big Birthday sentiment on a blue/green background.
I contemplated adding sequins or silver stars, but since the alcohol ink backgrounds
are so busy and colorful, I decided to go without.

Lastly, I'd like to direct you to another project that I did for MFT's February Release
Class using Birdie Brown's adorable Birthday Chicks.

below as well as how to videos on MFTv's You Tube channel.
