Are You Ready? 2 More Days Until MFT's December Release!

Yes, it's just a couple more days until MFT's December Release!
All new products will go on sale Tuesday, December 10th at 10AM EST.

Today I'm paying homage to Bei Bei, the adorable panda that was recently
returned to China (by private jet!) after being raised in the US.

Panda Pals is an adorable set of pandas, with matching Die-namics sold
separately.  Their favorite food--bamboo--was constructed with the Birch
Trees Die-namics and some leaves from a stitched flowers set.

The grass was drawn in with several Copic markers, then topped with the
bamboo and pandas. I finished off the card with the sentiment that was cut
apart to fit. How sweet are those two pandas?

We're Halfway There! 3 More Days Until MFT's December Release!

We're halfway through MFT's December Release Countdown--are you ready to
purchase new goodies on Tuesday, December 10th?

This month's Pure Innocence--You're My Person--is a cute one with two little
girls on one image.

After stamping the image, I colored each girl slightly different for a bit
of interest. I used a circle die and cut out a template from card stock, then
inked two colors and spattered water for some texture.

I popped up the image over the circle after it was dried and stamped the
sentiment beneath them. I finished off the card by rounding the corners.

Hope you'll stop by tomorrow!

Are You Counting? It's 4 More Days Until MFT's December Release!

It's Day 4 of MFT's December Release Countdown! All new goodies will go
on sale Tuesday, December 10th at 10AM EST in the MFT Store!

Today I've got a gender neutral birthday card using the new Smile Maker
Stamp Set, the Big Smile Die-namics--which is this month's "free with $60"
Die-namics--and the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

Before cutting them apart, I dry embossed the five smallest circles off center
to add a bit of interest to the card. The letters were cut three times from white
card stock and I inked each letter in rainbow colors before stacking them
together. I adhered them to the card and added the white embossed sentiment.

Black and white diagonal striped paper was adhered to a card base, then topped
with the panel. Clear sequins finished off the card.

It's Time for MFT's December Release Countdown!

Welcome to Day 5 of MFT's December Release Countdown!

This month we've got everything from cute to classic to florals. Speaking of
florals, here's my project using the new Rose Garden Stamp and Die-namics

Now I'm typically not a floral gal, but I couldn't resist trying my hand at
coloring this gorgeous image. The image was stamped with Versafine ink
and clear embossed on Bristol so I could watercolor with Zig markers.

After coloring the rose, it wasn't pink enough for me, so I added in some shading
with Prismacolor pencils. There are still some  harsh lines but I went over
as best as I could with a blender pencil.

After die-cutting the image, I adhered it to a panel that was cut with some
wonky stitching, then adhered the panel to a card base. The shadow portion
of the sentiment was cut from heavyweight vellum, then topped with the
sentiment cut from white card stock. The second part of the sentiment
was white embossed on dark gray card stock and adhered to to the card.

CAS(E) this Sketch #350

Welcome back to CAS(E) this Sketch
Sketch #350 is a little something from me, and it looks like this.

And here's my take on it.

I finally got a chance to use MFT's Mistletoe Cover Up and die cut a piece
of glittery green card stock. Berries were cut from two shades of pink
glitter card stock and everything was adhered to a white card base.
A white embossed sentiment finished off the card.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of my team interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, Dec 12th.
Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you in the gallery!

white embossed with sentiments. All the pieces were adhered to a white card
base per the sketch.

CAS(E) this Sketch #349--Take Two

I'm popping in to share another card for CAS(E) this Sketch #349, because
I just had to squeeze in another gnome 😉.

Yes, the little bro of the original gnome arrived and fit perfectly inside of a

The card was assembled per the sketch, and I used some striped paper under
him. A tiny font sentiment was the perfect finishing touch. Remember you have
until Thursday, December 5th to enter your card(s) for Sketch #349.

Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends and anyone else who celebrates. I'm so
grateful to those of you who visit my blog, Flickr, and Instagram.
Have a safe and happy holiday!

Joyful Snowman Tag

One more tag for Day 19 of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags with a little

I loved the little PS snowman as a stamp and when he came out as a (bigger) die,
he just had to come home with me.

Karin's sweet tag inspired mine and I substituted her little fox with the
snowman. I spattered a bit of snow on the tag and snowman, then added
the sentiment and DIY snowball. I just realized that this is an "all die" tag.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch #349

Brian brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch and it's a two-weeker
That means our US friends can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and still have
plenty of time to enter!

Here's Sketch #349.

And here's my take on it.

The gnome? Again? Yes! Possibly for the last time but I'm not making any
promises. I substituted the little guy for the rectangle element on the sketch,
placed him over some Sunny Studio patterned paper and finished off the
card with some green sprigs and a simple sentiment.

Remember this is a two week challenge so we hope you'll stuff yourselves
silly, grab some good Black Friday deals and find some time to squeeze in a little
CAS(E) this Sketch! Your card(s) are due on Thursday, December 5th and we
do hope to see you in the gallery!

A Gnome Tag for 25 Days of Christmas Tags

I'm joining my dear friend Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags which is in its
9th year! And her list of sponsors has grown tremendously, as well as the number
of tag entries. Way to go, Tracey!

When I saw that the sponsor for Day 10 was Simon Says Stamp, I pulled out their
Gnome Wafer Die and got to work. Here's my tag, using products from FIVE
different companies.

I LOVE this little gnome. My tag was totally inspired by Maura's tag. I was
inspired by her tag colors and I dug out my bag of rayon ribbons, too.

A Neat and Tangled tag die was texturized with Hero Arts' woodgrain die.
The gnome was cut from white card stock and ink distressed. Some sprigs of
greenery were tucked behind the gnome and topped with the white embossed
sentiment. The tag was finished off with a rayon seam binding bow.

Thanks for stopping by, and thanks to Maura for the inspiration! If time permits,
I'm hoping to link up another tag or two--how about you?
