Tag You're It Challenge #87--Spring Colours

It's time for a new Tag You're It Challenge. Here's the inspiration photo
for Tag You're It #87.

And here's my tag.

All of the design elements were cut from white card stock and ink distressed
in springtime colors. I adhered them to a tag and stamped the sentiment.
Gray and white twine was threaded through the tag and I scored a few lines
on the tag for a bit of interest.

Join the challenge and as the winner, you could be featured on a future
challenge! Link up your tag(s) by Wednesday, May 22nd.
We hope to see you in the gallery!

CAS(E) this Sketch #321

Teammie Brian brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #321.

And here's what I came up with.

Watercolor card stock was ink distressed with two colors of Distress inks and spattered
with water. A strip was torn and adhered to a white card base. Zig markers were
painted on Bristol card stock and blended with water, then cut with the fish die.
They were adhered on the "water" and the card was finished off with the sentiment.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the team interpreted Brian's sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, May 16th and as the weekly
winner, you'll be invited to guest with us on a future sketch!

MFT May 2019 Release and MFT & Friends

It's time to shop! My Favorite Things May Release is now available for
purchase in the MFT Store!

It's also time for MFT & Friends, when the Creative Team--and friends--
share fresh ideas and more inspiration with the May Release.

For my project, I paired Pure Innocence Sweet Summertime girl with the
Watermelon Slice Die-namics.

The All Lined Up Background was white embossed on green card stock and
trimmed at a wonky angle for a bit of interest, then adhered to a card base.
The watermelon pieces were assembled and the seeds were cut from black card
stock and glued into the seed spaces.

The little girl was stamped, colored with Copics, then cut with the matching
Die-namics. The watermelon was adhered to the card and the little girl was
popped up over it. The sentiment was white embossed on black card stock, then
cut with the new Skinny Strip Die-namics, and popped up on the card.
Pink enamel dots finished off the card.

All right, off you go! Don't forget to visit all Creative Team members' blogs and leave
a comment for a chance to win one of two $100 MFT gift vouchers! Thanks so much

MFT May 2019 Release Countdown Day 1

It's the last day of MFT's May Release Countdown. All new products go on
sale tomorrow, May 7th at 10AM in the MFT Store!

Today I've paired a Purr-fect kitty with the Ric Rac Die-namics, the previous
"free with $60" Die-namics that will be available for purchase in the MFT Store.

Ric rac strips were cut from five colors of MFT card stock and inked for a
bit of dimension. I adhered them to a card base in rainbow order and MFT's
new On-Point Precision Glue was the perfect adhesive for the job.

I stamped the sentiment, then added the frame. The kitty was adhered to the
card, and finished off with colorful enamel dots.

Visit today's Countdown post and leave a comment there for a chance to win a
$75 prize, then get ready to purchase your favorites tomorrow at 10AM EST!
Thanks for stopping by today and hope to see you for tomorrow's Release!

MFT May 2019 Release Countdown Day 2

It's just two more days until MFT's May Release! Are your wish lists ready?

Today I'm featuring Sweet Besties framed by the Falling From the Clouds
Frame Die-namics that I've turned into a tree canopy.

You've seen the possibilities with the Falling From the Clouds Frame, but I've
simplified it into a Polaroid design for the two besties. The frame was cut twice
from white and Natural card stock. I ink distressed the cloud portion on the
white piece before trimming it out and adhering it to the Natural piece.

The two girls were stamped, colored with Copics then cut with the matching
Die-namics. I stamped some flowers in purple Distress ink before coloring them
with Copics and cutting them out. All the pieces were adhered to a white card
base and finished off with the sentiment.

Visit today's Countdown post for more peeks at the new Release and

MFT May 2019 Release Countdown Day 3

We're halfway to MFT's May Release! All new products will go on sale
Tuesday, May 7th at 10AM EST in the MFT Store.

If there's a fruit that screams "summer", it has to be the watermelon and MFT
has a fun Watermelon Slice Die-namics--complete with seeds and a "bite" mark
--and some Sweet Sentiments that pair perfectly with it.

The watermelon flesh was cut from dark pink card stock and ink distressed with
Abandoned Coral Distress ink. The rind was cut from white and green card stock and
some shading was added for interest.

The seeds on the watermelon were cut from black card stock and pieced into
the respective spaces. A strip of patterned paper was adhered to the bottom and
the watermelon was adhered over it. I stamped the sentiment then added
some seeds on the bottom that were die cut from black Fun Foam.

MFT May 2019 Release Countdown Day 4

It's Day 4 of MFT's May Release Countdown! This month's Birdie Brown is
You Bring Out the Sunshine. I decided to give my Copics a break and colored
her with Prismacolor pencils on kraft card stock.

I stamped her with brown ink on Desert Storm card stock then colored her with
colored pencils. When the coloring was complete, and the stamp was still on the
door of the Misti, I inked it up and stamped her once again to darken the outline.
Grass was drawn on the bottom to ground her.

I prepared a card base by stamping the All Lined Up background stamp on Desert
Storm card stock with Kraft dye ink. The little girl was cut with the scallop rectangle
die then popped up on the base. I borrowed a butterfly from Adorable Elephants and
adhered it on the edge of the panel, then finished off with the stamped sentiment.

Be sure to check out what participating team members are sharing from the
May Release and leave a comment on today's post at the MFT blog. You could be
the random winner of a $75 prize. Hope to see you tomorrow!

2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2019/05/2019-spring-summer-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-2/

It's my favorite season of the year--a Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Shanna Slater
designed the most perfect logo with a Spring/Summer theme. I LOVE the little
cactus in the polka dot teacup--it's just too cute!

I made a quick shaped card using the Sizzix Mug die and Altenew's wide washi tape.
The beauty of washi tape is that it sticks to card stock. I adhered a piece to white
card stock before die cutting the mug and handle.

The "coffee" inside the cup was cut and colored in with Copic markers then adhered
to the top of the mug. The sentiment was stamped on an oval piece and I added a small
pink heart. The piece was adhered to the mug.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the hop! Caffeinated hugs to Amy and
her brew crew for a job well done on another successful hop!

MFT May 2019 Release Countdown Day 5

It's that time of the month--My Favorite Things Release Countdown!
Stacey Yacula brings us Friendly Foxes with a more masculine theme than her
previous releases, but still just as cute and perfect for Father's Day projects.

The images were stamped with brown ink and colored with Copic markers, then cut
with the matching Die-namics. I love putting Stacey's images inside a dome shape and
continued the tradition this month. Using Distress Oxide inks, I inked three colors
on the piece, then spattered water over the surface.

Striped patterned paper was adhered to a card base, then topped with a stitched
rectangle panel. The dome piece was adhered over it and the foxes were popped up
on the card. I stamped the sentiment and finished off the card with enamel dots.

CAS(E) this Sketch #320

Former teammie Nathalie brings us this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #320.

And here's my take on it.

An oval die was debossed on the front of a top folding gray card base. Four
leafy branches were ink distressed, then added onto the four corners of the card.
The stamped sentiment finished off the card.

Visit CAS(E) this Sketch to see how the rest of the team interpreted the sketch
and join us if you can. Link up your card(s) by Thursday, May 9th and as the
