Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 157, compliments of N@ Ali.

And here's my way-too-literal take on it.

MFT's Sunny Skies and Puffy Clouds to the rescue! I happened to have the
experimental inked background panel on my desk with the perfect colors for a sky.
I adhered the sun and clouds and added the sentiment that was white embossed
on a strip of green card stock.

Lots of Love for Blueprints

This month’s Creative Construction with Blueprints is the perfect opportunity 

to showcase how MFT's Blueprints can be used to create Valentine-themed tags.

I had fun pairing Tag Builder Blueprints 5 with Birdie Brown's Ewe Are the Best 

stamps and coordinating dies, together with Painted Prints Smitten Paper Pack.

The sheep (and ram) were stamped with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink on watercolor 

card stock, colored loosely with Zig markers, then die cut with the coordinating dies.

I die cut the tags from an assortment of papers and mixed and matched them 

until I found combinations that I liked. It was fun to add the punny sentiments
in the tag's spaces, and add on those teeny tiny hearts.

CAS(E) this Sketch 156

Teammie Michele F. brings us Sketch 156 for CAS(E) this Sketch, 

and it looks like this.

And here's my take on it.

I went totally literal, mostly because I wanted to use MFT's Fresh Cut Flowers
Die-namics that was sitting in my "not used yet" box. All of the dies were cut from
card stock and I added a bit of ink shading and highlights with a white pigment pen.

I adhered them to a Blueprints 24 panel, then popped up the white embossed
sentiment. Aren't those the sweetest words you could say to someone?

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #264

It's Wednesday--time for a new sketch at My Favorite Things! Here's Sketch 264.

And here's my take on it.

After ink distressing a watercolor panel with two color of Distress inks, I spritzed
some water and placed it behind the Stitched Cover Up Horizontal Companion
that was die cut from watercolorcard stock.

The little mouse and two bushels of apples were colored with Copics, cut out
with the matching dies, and adhered to the cover up panel. I cut apart the
two line sentiment and turned it into a one liner, and stamped it on the panel.
Finally, I adhered it to a white card base.
