I was inspired by the colors and the different die cuts on her tag.
I white embossed Hero Arts' Graph Background and ink distressed with two colors
of Distress inks on white cardstock.

The tag shape is a Sizzix Round Tag, and the leaf is from WPlus9.
The two part sentiment is by Papertrey Ink and Winnie & Walter.

I was tempted to use a butterfly, but reached for Altenew's Hennah Elements.

The flower and flourishes were stamped with Archival ink

and colored in with Peerless Watercolors.

CAS(E) this Sketch 84

Here's CAS(E) this Sketch 84 brought to you by Chrissy.

And here's my take on it.

I finally inked up Altenew's Painted Flowers. It's such a cool "building" set and Tasnim 

has a wonderful video on how to stamp the different layers. But I'm impatient
so I simply stamped the outline of each flower and leaf and did some quick watercoloring. 

Quick and easy peasy.

The dymo label sentiment is also from Altenew, stamped in Delicata Gold.

I added some filler dots with a couple of green Copic markers.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge--Anything Goes

Paper Smooches latest Sparks Challenge is Anything Goes.

I had some leftover building pieces from a previous post, and used them
together with one of my favorite and well used sentiments. Here's my card.

The buildings were painted with Peerless Watercolors--my new favorite watercolor medium.
I love the intensity of the colors and the fact that you only need a filled water brush
and you're good to go.

Over the weekend, I made a swatch palette so it's easier to see and use the colors.
There are several tutorials on You Tube but I chose Julie Ebersole's because I could see myself
using the palette, and I had all the supplies for it: watercolor paper, acetate, and washi tape.

Now I have all 40 colors ready to use, and it's portable, too.
And I'm stuck in Watercolorland.
