MFT Flower Silhouettes Card Kit Day 2

Are you ready for more Card Kit inspiration? The Flower Silhouettes
Card Kit will go on sale tomorrow, April 23rd at 10AM EST in the MFT Store.

For today's project, I inked up the flowers with Distress inks and sprayed
them with water before stamping on a white card panel, for a watercolor look.

I ink distressed lightly around the panel with Peeled Paint Distress ink,
then adhered it to a Grout Gray card base.

I white embossed the sentiment on a strip of white card stock, then ink
distressed with the same Peeled Paint Distress ink. I cut it out with the
Slanted Sentiment Strip Die-namics, then popped it up on the card.

Visit today's Card Kit post at My Favorite Things for more inspiration from
participating team members then get ready to purchase your kit tomorrow,
April 23rd at 10AM EST!

MFT Flower Silhouettes Card Kit--Day 1

It's time to meet My Favorite Things newest Card Kit--Flower Silhouettes.

Here's a sneaky peek a the kit. Visit today's post at My Favorite Things for a detailed
description of the kit's contents. The Flower Silhouettes Card Kit will go on sale
Tuesday, April 23rd at 10AM EST in the MFT Store.

For today's project, I stamped the flowers as true silhouettes. I masked off a portion
of a panel with Post-it tape, then ink distressed several colors and spattered some
water over the surface.

After the panel dried I stamped  the flowers with Extreme Black ink and
finished off the card with the stamped sentiment and black sequins.
The panel was popped up on a white card base with dimensional tape.

Since the stamps were still on the door of the Misti, I decided to make a
second card with different colors and a different sentiment. Cards can be
quickly mass produced with the silhouette images and a sentiment can be
added as needed, depending on the occasion, or simply left off altogether.

The Stitched Dome Frame was cut twice from watercolor card stock. I ink distressed
the inside piece with two colors of Distress inks and spattered water over it. Two frames
were adhered on a card base and the inked piece was placed into the opening.

Just in time for your Valentine card making is MFT's January Card Kit--Heart Art
and it's chock full of heart-y goodness!

Here's a peek at the kit. Visit today's post at My Favorite Things for a detailed description
of the kit's contents.

I'm sharing two cards using most of the contents of the kit.

Patterned paper was adhered to a white card base. A small panel was cut with
the wonky stitched recangle and adhered to the card. LOVE was cut from the card
stock in the kit and over lapped slightly, then popped up on the card.

The "you"was cut twice from white card stock and adhered together to form a thick
sentiment, then adhered to the LOVE.

I made a second card, constructing the same panel with the LOVE sentiment, and
adhered it to a diagonal striped panel. The "you" was adhered to the sentiment and
I added a pink heart in the center of the "O".

It's time to shop for MFT's Good Time to Wine Card Kit AND the newest Stacey Yacula
Release--Tweet Friends--in the MFT Store!

Before you run off, I'd like to share a couple more cards with you using the Card Kit

I LOVE the sentiments in the Card Kit, and chose to pair one with a row of wine glasses
from Wine Service. I masked off each cup and inked in the wine, then adhered them
to a kraft card base. I white embossed the sentiment and finished off with a strip
of striped patterned paper.

For my "Stacey" card, I stamped the birds in brown hybrid ink and colored them with
Copic markers. I ink distressed a dome piece and stamped some leaves and the
musical notes. The inked piece and frame were adhered to a kraft card base
and topped off with the birds and white embossed sentiment.
