CASology--Flutter

It's been a while since I joined CASology's challenges and decided to jump in
after I saw this week's cue word.

Here's my card.

Fluttering leaves. I had a bunch of ink distressed leaves in my scrap pile
and attached them to a skinny card to depict fluttering.
The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles.

I'm off to peruse the gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

CASology--PARTY

Here's a quick share of my card using the current cue word at CASology--PARTY.

I couldn't resist using the glittery gold bow from Studio Calico's Cuppa card kit
paired with the gold embossed sentiment from Avery Elle.
I'm so in love with that font--it's gorgeous!

I added a few scored lines at the top for a bit of interest.
This is definitely one of the quickest cards I've ever made.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Here's to a fun and crafty New Year!

CASology--BELL

This week's cue word at CASology is BELL. Here's my take on it.

I die cut three non traditional colors of foil cardstock
with Avery Elle's small bell die and paired it with a sentiment from Hero Arts.
I apologize for the wonkiness of the colors.
Maybe I should have gone with just silver bells.

Thanks for stopping by!

CFC115 & CASology 63

This week's challenge at CASual Fridays is to use fall colors
and at least one leaf on your clean and simple project.

And the cue word at CASology is AUTUMN.
Here's my one layer card to cover both challenges.

I used a leaf stamp from Paper Smooches, inked it in three different colors
of distress ink and spritzed it each time with some water before stamping it
on watercolor paper. The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles.
Lastly, I scored some lines at the top and my card was done.

Love it when a card covers two challenges!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Guest Designing at CASology

I'm honored to be guest designing over at CASology today.

The cue word? DESSERT!
Here's my card.

I masked and stamped three macarons from Avery Elle on a skinnier-than-normal card
and added the sentiment on the side. I grounded the macarons with a bit of shading
and added some "filling" with white Enamel Accents.

Thank you, Melissa, and the CASology team for having me
as a guest designer this week. This card is dedicated to all of you!

And if you haven't heard Melissa, the owner of CASology
recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and there's a card shower
happening here at CASology. Link up a card and "shower" Melissa with good wishes!

Lastly, have you seen the previews of Avery Elle's August/September release? Jamie has been showing them here on her blog, and we'll be featuring them this Thursday with a blog hop. Please stop by and hop along with us if you can.
