Freshly Made Sketches #731 is my very first sketch as a team member!
I was SO nervous and looked back on previous sketches to see if it had been
done before. Nope. So I went with it.
Easy peasy sketch, right? I have several card ideas in mind but for now,
here's what I came up with. I took the botanical route.
I cut several small blooms and leaves and inked them with Zig markers. I adhered
them to six rectangle shapes then popped up each shape on an embossed card
base and finished off with the Spellbinders sentiment.
I hope you'll join the challenge and my inaugural sketch. Remember that the
shapes can be whatever you choose. Be sure to stop by Freshly Made Sketches
to see how the rest of the team played along. I can't wait to see their cards, too!

These tiny flowers are so sweet and pretty on the die cut rectangles! A great sketch and another beautiful card, Donna!
ReplyDeleteDear friend, I couldn't love your sketch more - seems like you're a pro already! Must be all that practice from our CTS days, eh? And then you go and create the most beautiful card with it... [happy sigh] pure perfection!

The sweetest of blooms on a textured wall = Fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteYour first sketch is a winner in my book Donna, as is your card! It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I love the soft look of your blooms on the dimensional rectangles, and your embossed background creates even more beautiful dimension!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteDonna, your sketch is so clean-lined and user-friendly! Fun to see how everyone is interpreting it in their own way. I really love everything about your sample card - the delicate flowers and pop of white against the burlap feel of the embossing folder is perfect. ~Nancy J, inkblocks :o)
