CASual Fridays 126 is a fun one--COLOR BLOCKS, using blocks of color
on your clean and simple project.
I hope my card qualifies. It's more "curves" of color than "blocks".
Raise your hand if you bought it. I was one of those who said, "Nah, I don't need that die.
I can trace a plate or a bowl. I can cut a curved line."
But I caved and bought it and now I'm calling it one of my favorite fun dies!
I paired the design with the Paper Smooches sentiment--again.

I think your card counts as curvy blocks of color!
ReplyDeleteOooo, really pretty, Donna!!! Curving the sentiment is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used the curved die on this card and the curved sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Donna!
ReplyDeleteLoving it, Donna! AND yes, I bought the curved die but haven't pulled it out yet - you just inspired me to do so :)

OMG this is just perfect, Donna! Just look at the precision!! WOW! Love the colours you used too :) Can you believe I JUST got a die cutting machine at the beginning of the month, so I'm slowly stocking up on dies, with a wish list a mile long. This one just got added to it!
ReplyDeleteYes I bought it and your card is why. If it doesn't qualify for the challenge, I will start boycotting it. Your card is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love your take on blocks! I didn't buy the die but am tempted after seeing your cool card.
ReplyDeleteI'm raising my hand, and yes...I just bought this die, too :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that you used curves for your color blocking, Donna! The colors are gorgeous, and who says blocking has to be square? Certainly not us!!!
Oh..This is Gorgeous Donna! I love that curved die :)
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of colors and the curves give the card a softer feel.
ReplyDeleteDidn't pick up this die as I couldn't imagine much use but, I was so wrong! Love your card and the nice balance of curves and colors. :)

ReplyDeleteOh look at those color curves!! Hahaha ... "I can cut a curve" ... that's totally what I would tell myself! But then do I ever? Nope! Not unless I have a die : ) You're the smart one, Donna! Love this. Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
ReplyDeleteHaha...I just read Kelly's comment....I'm totally the same. I adore your card! So bright and colorful and happy and I love that just a couple have patterns. I think I need this die.
