CASology--HOPE

This week's cue word at CASology is HOPE.
Here's my very literal take on the cue word.

The sentiment is from Paper Smooches and the swooshes of color
are from Papertrey Ink's Watercolor Wonder.
The card was finished off with a few gems.

Hello sunshine

Happy mail from Neat and Tangled and Papertrey Ink
prompted me to enter this card into Moxie Fab World's Ombre Challenge.

I inked up Watercolor Wonder in several colors of Hero Arts mid tone inks
in ombre fashion--a technique we learned in Clean & Simple Card Making 2.

The sentiment is from Ali Edwards for Technique Tuesday.
And I'm pretty proud of myself for not hoarding the sequins
and actually using them on this card.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

A Bicycle for Two

It's the last Wednesday of the month which means that this is my last card
to share as guest designer for Avery Elle. I've had so much fun with this month's release
and today I'm sharing Roll With It. Here's my card.

I love the tandem bicycle and wanted to create a fun and playful card.
I grounded the bicycle with some stripes from Papertrey Ink's Watercolor Wonder set
and finished the card off with a bit of twine.

Okay, so THIS is my last card for Avery Elle that Jamie shared
on the blog last week. An easy peasy one layer card that can be used
for any occasion by simply changing the sentiment.

I've had the best month guest designing for Avery Elle after winning
the AEI♥U challenge. Check out their monthly challenges
and give them a go. You could be guest designing, too!

Thank you for having me, Jamie! It was a fun ride...

CASual Fridays 95--NO Stamps

The latest challenge at CASual Fridays is No Stamps--create a clean and simple
project using NO stamps whatsoever. Here's my card.

Dies and a handwritten sentiment. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

I covered thin cardboard with patterned paper scraps and used
PTI's Modern Alphabet dies, turning the "L's" into flower stems.
This card turned out exactly as I imagined. Love when that happens!

Thanks for visiting today!
