MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #308

Are you ready for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge?
Here's Sketch #308.

And here's what I came up with.

I started by stamping a Natural card base with the Etched Tribal Background in
Versamark ink. A stitched circle was cut from Sno Cone card stock and lightly
ink distressed and spattered with water. A strip of Sour Apple card stock was
cut with a grass die and ink distressed on the bottom.

The pup and butterfly were colored with Copic markers and cut with the
matching dies. I stamped the sentiment and adhered everything to the
card following the sketch.

Visit the Card Challenges blog for all the details and join our weekly
challenge. You could be the random winner of up to a $20 MFT gift voucher!
Hope to see you in the gallery!

MFT November Creative Construction with Blueprints--Holiday Tags

Adding a handmade touch is a wonderful way to personalize your thoughtful gifts.
Stocking up on holiday tags is a fun, quick, and easy way to prepare for the gift
giving season. Join us this month as we look at holiday tags featuring Blueprints.

I love tags. I love making them and gifting them or just stickin' 'em on a card.
For this month's challenge, my tags came together rather quickly, thanks to
extra images that I already had on hand.

The tag card base is from Blueprints Tag Builder 1 that was stamped with Distressed
Stripes Background in Versamark ink. I color coordinated the reinforcement on each
tag with the colors on the images, and added a strip of color on the bottom.

The images were popped up on the tag with dimensional adhesive, and finished off
with the sentiment and some twine.

CAS(E) this Sketch 199

This week's CAS(E) this Sketch is a two weeker so we can all enjoy
the Thanksgiving holiday, and it also gives you more time to play
and do some leisurely Black Friday shopping!

Here's Sketch #199 brought to you by Chrissy.

And here's my take on it--a quick one layer card.

After doing a bit of surgery on the stamps, I stamped the sentiment in
"Christmas-y" colors, then shaded along the edge with colored pencils.
White dots were added with a pigment pen for a bit of interest. I rounded
off the bottom corners, and finished off with some clear sequins.

Remember that you have two weeks to enter the challenge. Link up your
card(s) by Thursday, December 1st. Thanks for stopping by and I hope
you have a safe and yummy Thanksgiving!
